My Story
My name is Phillip Oliveira, and I founded Kaizen Yardworks with a simple goal: To bring reliability, quality, and care to every yard we touch. As a Navy Equipment Operator, I proudly served from 2015 to 2024, where I learned the value of discipline, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right the first time. Those same values guide how we approach landscaping today.
I’m originally from Boston but have called Oxnard home since 2017. Long before my time in the Navy, I worked as a landscaper and found the work both fulfilling and inspiring. After completing my service, it felt natural to return to this craft — building a business that combines my passion for outdoor work with the skills and mindset I developed while serving.
